John Hinton is Playwright

Sometimes I write plays, and sometimes I write scripts for other things, like short films, which are included in the list below too. But I haven’t included song cycles, for example most of the shows I’ve made for Ensonglopedia, which can be found on the singer-songwriter page; if it’s got characters and a story, and it’s happened since I graduated from drama school in 2005, it’s in, otherwise it ain’t.

The list also doesn’t include things on which I’ve been part of a larger writing or devising team, which includes:

  • loads of shows (about eight, I won’t list them) for Tangled Feet
  • Cloning Frankenstein for Teater EnKor
  • Crunch! A Show About Apples for Tangram Theatre Company
  • Spring Awakening at Cumbria University

All of these are listed on the Actor page, except the last one, which I directed.
